It annoys me too. Apparently when you're fat, you're also childlike and incapable of doing anything for yourself, and you have such low self-esteem you'll throw yourself at the nearest drunken teenager.

She seems so defined by her weight, it's such a shame.

I know loads of overweight people who are actually happy, and, gasp, some who are even attractive. God forbid.
