What do you get for that?

I live in Buckinghamshire, a local cafe near me you can get 2 bacon, 2 sausages, beans, egg, toast or fried bread, mushrooms, hash browns for £4.40 and black pudding for an extra 30p.

The same as that, Gog, but without the hash browns.

The cafe near me does 3 sizes, £2, £3 and £4. The £4 one is verging on gross, you get 3 sausages, 3 bacon, 3 eggs, black pudding, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, toast AND fried bread.

A mug of tea is 50p extra.

I tend to avoid sausages in fry up in general as in addition to rashers, I find it all too salty, and I'd prefer rashers over sausages, especially in the UK.

I love cheap fry up sausage, don't get me wrong I'd prefer the ones from the butchers but they wouldn't work on a dirty fry up.

I do love a fry up, but they always leave me feeling full and bloated for the rest of the day.

There's a pub just off Picadilly that does 2 sausage, bacon, beans, fried egg (runny yolk), toast and coffee for 3.95.

Useful if you got a room at the Ritz but can't afford the resteraunt

Well, whenever I have one, I tend to eat lightly for the rest of the day.

Wetherspoons do a good one for about 2.50, Morrisons is not bad at about 3.30 and Rose's down York Road in Leeds do a choice of English, Scottish or Irish plus others for less than 5 pounds.

Up for debate. Definitely Sausage, Bacon, Egg, then all manner of other things can go in. Beans is a touchy subject.

Definitely NO BEANS.
I would include any and all of bacon, sausage, black pudding, fried (not scrambled) egg, mushrooms, fried bread, tomatoes.

'tis wrong, 'tis so wrong.

Even Fortnum And Mason don't do beans, but they let thenselves down by giving you eggs 'of your choice'.

Indeed, the choice should be fried, fried, fried or fried.

I know someone who has beans, but they have them served in a separate dish. This is also wrong. You can get your 'wet' from the steaming mug of tea that's served with your breakfast, or HP sauce.

Those prices are insane. I know it's Fortnum and Mason and the quality is high, but there has to be a point where the price just goes from being 'high' to just downright unreasonable.

£5.50 for a Pot of Tea for one? I don't care how good the tea is, you can never justify that.
