can you take a picture of the back of the TV as that picture you posted shows more ports than you say you have

The Samsung TV uses it's own unique type of connection system for analogue signals. In the box the TV came in should be three adapter leads.

One to SCART
One for Composite video/stereo audio which will have three phono sockets. One yellow, one red and one white.
One for Component video/stereo audio. This has five phono sockets, three video coloured red blue and green and two audio coloured red and white.

So it is the Composite video/stereo audio adapter that is needed here.

Actually looks like I may have been slightly wrong on the adapter front (working from memory never a good thing ) . Looks like the component video uses the audio from the composite input (sort of begs the question as to what happens if yo want to use both)

Anyway. I am surprised Samsung didn't provide adapters, pretty sure they were listed as pRt of the box contents. But that adapter lead you have linked to is likely to work.

Oh and why enclose links in Code tags? Makes it harder for the rest of us to follow them. Just type/paste the webaddress directly into the message editor and let the forum software convert it to a link, eg

Just that the Composite video/stereo audio adapter is about £6 on the internet and I find that a bit over price for a cable like that, would this cable work as my TV has PC In and the port is VGA female,

Simple answer - no

That adapter is for a specific type of PC graphics card that can switch the normal VGA signals off and substitute composite video and audio signals.

The PC in port on the TV is strictly VGA video format only. Hence why it has a separate mini jack alongside for audio.

Well I will buy the Composite video/stereo audio adapter but which port do I plug it in 1 or 2?

The clue is the word "AUDIO" in the label above the sockets.

I thought that, you would have thought that Samsung would give you everything you need to run the TV in the box, surely they know that not everything out there runs on HDMI's

So I plug the Composite video/stereo audio adapter in the Audio port, just I thought of something, could I get a adapter for the Turtle Beach XLC and plug it into Component port?

yes plug the composite adapter in Port 1(the one under AUDIO on your picture),and no i dont think you could plug the XLC into the component as you would have no audio feed from the 360 as your plugged into it by HDMI not component

Best way to do it is the way weve showed you using the 360 Optical RCA Adapter adapter

I will use the Xbox 360 Optical RCA adapter but just I thought of something that might work but not sure, I was thinking getting a adapter and then plug in Turtle Beach RCA cable into the adapter into Component port,

as i said above it wouldn't work as that lead which connects to your turtle beach acts as a pass through from your 360's RCA audio ports and as your using HDMI and not Component there would be no sound coming out of the headset,as the 360 component lead wouldnt be connected to the Xbox 360

the only reason it works via the Xbox 360 Optical RCA adaptor without connecting to the TV is that adaptor is designed to be used in Conjunction with HDMI if you have something like a Home Cinema System with RCA Ports or an Optical In on it
