Ok so there’s a storm brewing about Mr ed reid and whether he ‘stole’ somebody’s act.

The question that the ‘judge and jury’ of DS has to ask is:-

Can two people who have never met or who have had no communication or connection with whatsoever come up with the same idea?
The answer is YES

There have been proven court cases in the music industry where 2 artists have come up with similar melodies independently of each other. It is more than possible that Mr reid thought up this simple idea all by himself.

I believe the supposed scandal of ‘REIDGATE’ could just be a storm brewing in a teacup.

I read the title as The Scandal od Reigate.

But they have come into contact together, that's the thing.

They performed at the same gig a few years back, where - according to the "original" act - Reid's act was completely different, involving a partner.
