I thought she meant 'old man' as in her husband. Saying that in the future her and the Dr are married.
I'm so excited to see how this all unfolds.
I don't know. I assumed she meant the doctor as "my old man" can be used to refer to a partner/husband too.
She assumed that she and the Doctor were married in her future. However, when she found out that her first kiss with him was also his first kiss she realised that what she thought the future would be is wrong. Hence the first and last kiss comment.

It could well be a double meaning, that we can take either way. For now, based on what we know, she means her husband (because in her timeline, to her Doctor, they are married, I'm guessing)
However, based on what everyone seems to be speculating, it's probably one of those lines that we'll look back on and marvel at the clever writing and double meaning behind it. Just a shame so many of us on here are already one step ahead of the game.

Hope her old man didn't see what? He saw her shooting before he went in didn't he and why did the gun change colour
The gun whizzy thing she did and the reference to "old man" surely implies she is Jenny- the Doctor's daughter?
Doesn't explain why she would then snog him though.

The first and last kiss comment was because she realised that she'd never kiss him (or anything else) again, much the same as SitL.
And river has always made hubby type comments about the Doctor, this is just another one.

Old man can refer to husband (boyfriend/partner).

She's married to the doctor in her past, not her future, she is already married to him by the time she's in the stormcage, at least that's what we're led to believe.
Remember they are travelling in opposite directions. She's kissed the doctor lots of times, but she knows that will be the last time she ever kisses him in her timeline, because the next time she meets him, he'll know her even less. If this was the first time they kissed from his point of view, then she knows they won't be kissing next time, which we've already seen on screen. The next event for her is the Pandorica, followed by crash of the byzanthium, and then silence in the library, and you can see how that turned out.
Though then again, maybe Rory is the "old man" in question and those Qs from the doc about him remembering his 2000 year wait are suggesting that there is now more to him. Think back to all the chatter about the date on his nursing badge. Maybe he is a Timelord, the little girl is his and Amy's daughter hence her regenerating at the end. Maybe Amy and Rory are the parents of a new Gallifrey?

It's very unlikely that River is Jenny, due to the flirting and kissing. Incestuous (even if cloned) behaviour on a BBC Family show? I think not!

The first and last thing is a continuation of what River said last week about her and the Doctor living their lives in reverse. Her firsts are his lasts, his firsts are her lasts. She just realised she'll never kiss him again.

I am a bit confused how anyone could see that then the snog and think it means dad!!
I am also surprised about the Doctor/Amy baby speculation, I mean, this is a show for kids and families to watch, a few jokes thrown in for adults too, but I think Amy hooking up with the Doctor would definitely push this beyond 6 pm family viewing!!

That's exactly my point. Why is she so surprised? She knows they are running in opposite directions so by this logic she shouldn't be surprised as she knows it's just a first for him. Yet she's very surprised they haven't kissed before. In fact they played on the fact that he took it as "there's a first for everything" yet she took it a totally different way. Two very different reactions suggest to me that there's far more going on here and River has realised something very important about the relationship.
Or maybe it's something utterly different. I guess we'll know by the end of the year
hmmm if she is going to be the docs wife then surely the matter of them going the opposite way through time has to be solved.

Obviously she doesn't expect this to be the first time. She has ideas of him coming and taking her away and them staying together until she dies. Now she knows this doesn't happen and is obviously devastated
Erm, she says 'Old fella' not old man, and old fella is usually a lovers term. She was referring to the Doctor.
"My old fella didn't see that, did he? He gets ever so cross."
