Shaheen sang (beautifully) at Michael Jackson's memorial service in the USA, which was televised worldwide.

Agree, he sang very well at that and it should be remembered MJ wanted Shaheen to play at his London shows before he died too.

Bieber loaded up his first video on 19th January 2007.

Eventually he got featured on youtube, and obviously he got an external record deal later than that.

When he became "famous" is up for everyone to say themselves. Personally I would say its when he got his external record deal, because loads of people can load any sort of video onto youtube, but they wouldn't be well known to everyone.

Anyway Ronan Parke has got talent.

Comparing Ronan to Justin Bieber is a bit harsh. He has got a great voice and is a genuinely talented guy. Give him a chance. I am sure he will be in the live shows and we will see how he copes under the pressure.

It'd probably be better to compare him to Greyson Chance, although he is nowhere near as talented as him

Not really - Liam Payne was on X-Factor in August 2008; I first discovered Justin Bieber in January 2010. Obviously he was famous to some people before I discovered him, but how much in 2008?

I'd call Grayson as a musician, not just a singer. Piano skills are not easy to master at the level he plays.

There are / were lot of child singers in Britain who sings as Ronan, but when they get into Adulthood most of them lose their voice in the higher range.

Bieber signed an external record deal in October 2008, and realised his first single in July 2009.

And of course he was already famous on youtube before then.

I wouldn't say Liam Payne auditioning for the X factor in August 2008 made him famous before Justin Bieber though! But if you think it does, you also must think Bieber was "famous" in 2007, right from when he posted his first video on youtube.

Didn't JB perform in one of the live shows last year?

Think the OP is abit late identifying the 'disease'.

Please don't use the name Beiber when talking about Ronan. Ronan's voice is quite superior to that of Beiber. I'm loving repeatedly watching Ronan's audition on You Tube. He's great!

The comparison between both is stupid, as they are both talented!

In other words yes Ronan is talented.

But so is Bieber.

I am still waiting for what this Justin Bieber disease is. I am assuming its that Ronan will have eggs thrown at him on stage, and pointless attacks will be made on any video on youtube, even those not actually involving Ronan.

Its clearly nonsence to say Bieber has no talent. He clearly does, the fact is loads of people load videos onto youtube, not everyone gets famous from it.

And yes Bieber did appear on the X factor last year.
