Ok just re-watched tonight's ep and that bit where the Doc and River are examining the spacesuit and Rory emphasises the point that he KNOWS what is happening.

Similar to an incident last series when he revealed he knew more than the Doctor expected in the TARDIS.

Links back to that nurse badge making him far older than he should be.

Is he a fobwatched Timelord or just a fob-off timelord?

Think he's more the key in all this than Amy...

I hope so because Arthur Darvill is a much better actor than Karen Gillen and Rory is a more likeable and sympathetic character than Amy.
He has such modesty and vulnerability yet has a huge reserve of tenacity and fortitude.
It's the first time that I find myself admiring a Doctor's companion as much as the Doctor himself.
Amy doesn't deserve him.

I think he was just a bit pissed that The Doctor kept explaining the situation over and over and over to him when he clearly knew exactly what was going on. He said in the last episode how exasperating it can be to be a companion with him

Could Amy's comment about 'the man falling from the sky' be more literal when referring to Rory then we think? Could he be a Time Lord without knowing it...maybe The Master, after pushing the Time Lords back into the void, tumbled and fell in Ledworth as a child without his memory?

Sorry, too far fetched, I know. I do wonder if Amy's 'figure of speech' comment was more literal, though.

I guess Rory being a hidden timelord would explain the regenerating child? Still of course assuming that it is Amys child.

And the pregnancy scan, perhaps it can't decide if she's pregnant because it's not a fully-human baby inside her?

I doubt Rory is in anyway connected to the Time Lords - he is either fully human, or possibly an auton (or nesteen duplicate as they are called in The Big Bang) but not Time Lord
