I think you have to request a pole from the mods? Be careful though: I requested a Pole once - I ended up with someone called Klauduisz. Nice man - made a smashing kotlet schabowy...

Sylvester McCoy will always be "my Doctor" as he was the one I grew up with. Starting to watch as a kid anyway having nightmares etc.

The best Doctor: Matt Smith. David Tennant did have that title but Matt Pips it imo

My favourite is Matt because he is the defination of awesomeness

Very very very close and sometimes interchangable second is Peter Davison. Can't put my finger on it as to why. And then an even closer third (and the one who I guess I consider "my" doctor) is David Tennant.

Don't really have a least favourite, maybe 6, but thats not fair as I watched none of his stories, and base it mostly on the fact he took over from 5

Chris Eccleston for me

My first doctor, the one who got me into the series, therefore completing my life as a geeky social recluse, living only for theories, speculations and Saturday nights

I haven't seen enough of the old episodes to make a judgement on those incarnations. My stepdad has almost every episode on video up in the attic, shame my mother decided to be all high-tec and replace the video player with a dvd-recorder-thingy
I guess I could get a video player on ebay. Shouldn't be more than 1p or so...

Eccleston. He was a right cocky *******, how could you not love him? He was cool, funny, generaly awesome and had a great look. Plus him and Rose/Him and Jack worked better than Tennant and Rose/Tennant and Jack.

Quite a common one and i don't visit here very often.

For what it's worth:
1. Tom Baker (The Doctor when i was a kid)
2. Matt Smith (He's just a lot of fun!)
3. Chris Eccleston (Just a great actor, intense)

Tennant was ok, as was Peter Davison.

Not seen enough of the first 3 Doctors to rate them and think i stopped watching during Colin Baker's stint and watched just one episode of Sylvester McCoy.

Paul McGann did a decent job but that was just one story so i'll leave him out.

Christopher Eccleston - he was my doctor
But David Tennant really made the role his own, and Matt Smith is brilliant.

There is only one Doctor, he just changes the way he looks from time to time. No matter what The Doctor looks like, he will always be my favourite

It was Chris, then David, but Matt Smith is the Doctor for me now. Quirky, awkward and eccentric. Perfect.

This is where we can start to tell people's ages

My favourite is and always will be Tom Baker

Of the new Dr Who, David Tennant was my favourite, but he's still not a patch on Tom!

Troughton top
McCann bottom (no reflection on him as an actor, but the "movie" was dire)

Definitely Tom, but closely followed by, in no particular order, Matt Smith, Pat Troughton and Paul McGann (Paul basically because of the audio stories).

Bottom of the list, definitely Tennant with Pertwee sadly not far above him (I just didn't think either of them were playing the same character as all the other Doctors).
