I don't cook anything when i'm drunk, too dangerous. I think Billy Connolly once referred to it as "chip pan roulette!"

I've made load of stuff when drunk. Chips, curries, stews. Even attempted a pizza once. It was messy
![]() A good standby though is a pepperami and a bag of crisps or pork scratchings

I'll normally have bread or crisps. Oven chips if I do cook

My gran once got somewhat inebriated, probably made worse by the fact that she hardly ever touched alcohol, and decided to make everyone a fry up; she put the frying pan on the cooker, switched it on, and then stood getting the bacon and sausages and stuff out of the fridge on the other side of the kitchen, and proceeded to toss each slice of bacon or sausage across the room into the pan
- best of it is, she didn't miss once!

I'm with the you don't start cooking things when you are drunk its a risk that doesn't need to be taken. I know someone who did just that put chips on and fell asleep. Luckily they had a working smoke alarm and there was someone else in the house so the incident was minimal but well we know how badly something like that can turn out.
If I have been out its usually something out of the chippy or kebab shop on the way home or making a sandwich when I have got in or just grabbing crisps or some chocolate. I just want something thats pretty instant so why bother trying to cook. |

I don't have the statistics but I remember that a lot, if not most house fires in Scotland were due to someone cooking after drinking.
Drunk cooking can be lethal. If you have to - make it a salad.

Tuna melts using this recipe:
http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/3...esy-tuna-melts They don't look pretty when you make them smashed but they really hit the spot! |
