Something so Doctorish about it...

I just watched Day of the Moon for the second time due to being mildly under the influence of a few G&T's the first time...

Anyway, does anybody else think the protection of that little girl seemed a bit 'Doctorish'.

She's in a space suit, where she's basically unable to be harmed, ever, with a direct line to the nearest authority whenever she has a problem. Seemingly guarded by The Silence, who aren't armed (very Doctor-y), but have the perfect defence mechanism in that they're forgotten basically straight away....

It makes me wonder if maybe, The Doctor is the initiator of everything here. If the girl is Amy's child, the Doctor might feel a little responsibility for her if Amy dies/becomes unable to care for her due to him putting her in danger.

So, I'm thinking maybe, the Doctor enlisted/created the Silence to constantly protect her daughter... Maybe they went a bit haywire, they made her a suit, using some magic timelord knowledge, that can repair itself and the suit passed this ability onto the little girl.

I'm sure there was a line about how you forget everything about The Silence over time, and maybe, by the time Amy has her kid and the kid ends up needing protection, The Doctor has forgotten about this encounter and won't remember how badly wrong it all goes... Then maybe, at the end of the series he'll realise and this is how he ends up dead... (Obviously, I'm expecting this death to not end up happening).

Went off on a bit of a tangent there, but basically, my question - Does anybody else think the little girl's protection just seems a bit too "Doctorish"?

(By the way - my first thread - ever)
