I refuse to believe we are seeing the best talent out there.

Why they continue to deliberately put all the wierdest acnd freakiest acts in front of the judges is beyond me.

Absolute garbage... even the snake act was a let-down... the snake just didn't perform at all... poor girl had to read a poem instead!

I thought the snake act was typical of the new trend for talentless people where they are so bad at what they do they would never get a look in, so they add a gimmick.

Her delivery was as crap as the poem, so what do they do? They add a snake for no reason whatsoever. And it's obviously all mummy's idea who is probably even less talented (if possible)

We had a local female singer in my town who was so bad that she added making balloon animals to her act of no bloody reason at all. It wasn't like she was performing for kids. It was just to try and make up for the missing talent in her singing.

The little girl was sweet, but her delivery was rather lispy, it was difficult to understand what she was saying. Yes remembering a long poem is a talent I guess (or rather a skill), and nothing against her, but it seemed more suited to a school play/party, not BGT.

So you don't just slag off the royal family, you also reserve that privilege for brave little girls reading a poem in front of an audience of thousands. You're making a bit more sense to me now.

But yeah, back on topic, talent is a bit thin on the ground this year but I like the new set up of judges. There are more auditions yet so we could see someone brilliant yet

The stupid thing is I think the talent is there; but for some reason they're shoving the good acts aside and showing the lunatics instead.

I think for next week they should advertise a 'non-buzzer' week and show off some of the best acts. Then again, considering some onf the 'non-buzzer' acts which have been getting through this year...

And it was hardly Paradise Lost.

There is an argument that they need to put the bad acts in, so you can see just how good the good acts really are.

If all the acts were the judges just giving 3 yes's the show would be boring. (Whether you think they have the balance right is up to you, but 100% of people going through in the auditions shown on TV, would not be the right balance in my opinion.)
