What if the spacesuit is a Tardis?

Hello

A rudimentary one- hand crafted by little alien hands.

Alternative Doctor, a bad man/alien hybrid thing.

Goes back, in spacesuit, to kill evil self.

Doctor cloned- you see.

Or, the abandoned Time Lord in miniature- estranged from Father- goes bad without sufficient guidance.

Or, mad and bad because of partial human content.

I am convinced that the spacesuit is of time-lord origin. It is too complex a device to be created by the silence IMO. I don't think it is a TARDIS though. More a life support machine. Maybe built by the doctor at a later point in his timestream...

Hello

But the puddle, that is larger than the other puddle, mentioned its 'self-repair' ability.

That it could self animate and go in search of the kid to 'eat her'.

Maybe a mechanised womb- sustaining kid until it's mature enough to understand regeneration.

It took me a moment to get that, but very clever! I like it!

Although the larger puddle isn't exactly a puddle. It's a free flowing body of water rather than self contained like say .... ohhhhh ... a pond!

The self repair feature is why I'm convinced it's time-lord technology. And so intriguing a concept. He never answered River though when she asked...

"Can it be automated?"...

I personally don't think it can. I think it needs a host. Which fits in with the death scene of future doctor who knew who was in the suit...

Hello

That's a good theory but what about the phrase:

our cousins that live across the pond?

If an ocean can be a pond- a river can be a puddle.

Hello

But what of this regenerating child- what if she is partway Timelord, partway Pond.

She needs a mechanised womb until she is able to sustain herself?

And what if this child goes through a period of terrible twos, or in time-relative terms- terrible centuries.

And she strikes out at the Doctor that left her behind, or the Mother?

She regenerates into a doctor double, through human will for revenge?

But somewhere, she picks up conscience and realises her evil intent.

Hops back to kill herself, the evil alternate Doctor.
