Lady Gaga performed her new single "Judas" for the first time on TV on today's episode (April 28th) of 'The Ellen Show' - The pop star - wearing a blue tight latex outfit - used the same concept as in her "Born This Way" performances, that is, lots of dancers wearing the same thing, a non-stop choreography and a great dose of hair whipping. Did she deliver? Hmmmm, nah. The dancing in the bridge was cool, yes, but in the end, it was like watching the 'BTW' performances again. She could have bring some killer props with a religion theme, and she could have played "Mary Magdalene" already with a dramatic costume. Meh, next time I guess. The new Gaga & RedOne creation "Judas" - which I lurve - is shockingly 'underperforming' (WHAT!!) on the almighty Hot 100 Chart. It debuted last week at #10 and this week instead of going up, it's goin' down! To be precise, it's slipped to #12. Brit's TTWE is beating Gaga's new single. Wow!

They were pretty much my thoughts on the performance too, but she's only given two performances to this era, she'll clean it up and take it forward yet.

A very VERY loud backing track, and the voice carried on loudly when she took the microphone away, but when she looked like she was singing, she was singing.

She was telling the truth when she said that she doesn't mime, but it depends on how you want her to sing live.

I didn't really like it to be honest. I hope her 3rd single makes up for my disappointment in the first two - she can do it! And I mean the first two as a whole video, hype, performances and song.

I really liked the performance! She sounded good as well considering it's her first performance of Judas!

The costume was very early Britney though haha but I liked it!!!

She really needs to stop referring to the album as a 'masterpiece' as it is building fans hopes up to an unachievable level for her. And is also comes across as very smug (with, so far, nothing to back up the smugness). The first 2 singles have been 'good' at best compared to her previous work, and havn't lived up to the hype at all. And I agree that the performance of Judas is like the BTW one - and it's a very weak routine (again, in comparison to her previous routines).

Well to her it might be a master piece. That is HER OPINION and i believe she is allowed to have it just like everybody else. Just cause she is famous doesnt mean she isnt allowed her own opinion on her work. I dont think she comes up with the dance routines herself. how would she have time? so thats not her fault all in all for a first performance it was good.
