Just what I was about to say. Although it's delusional and unfair to the poor woman, it's very unlikely that they've put her through with the intention of selecting her for the live shows. However, I guess it gives her a bit of a confidence boost for a while, even if it will be short-lived.
As I posted last year (and probably the years before that too), she will probably get through to the finals just so the judges will have someone to buzz and slag off for that final week.
Happens every year.
I must admit BGT was compulsive viewing for me every Saturday night, this series has been recorded and watched when I've got an hour to spare - it's been a bit "meh..."
