That's a good point, well spotted.

I did think that was bizarre. I think Jane just tries to keep the peace, and is constantly hoping that Masood will be different, she did have a go at him during the ABRC night, so I think she just doesn't know what else to do.
It was nice to see her being so affectionate and nice with Syed.

Christian and Roxy having scenes together without making me dislike either of them was also a pleasant change. Though I do think Ronnie's got a point- I don't think Roxy's enjoying it at all, but I do think she's being a bit 'look at how grown-up I am'. It'd be nice if we could actually see some actual growth. I think Christian and Roxy's friendship works a lot better even when she's only 'playing at' grown-up.”
I think the build up of scenes with Jane is happening for a reason, I really, really, really hope she is going to talk to Masood and try to make him see sense.
I didn't mind the Roxy scenes, for once, I think the Roxy/Syed difficulties have faded a bit now, and she was obviously okay about selling the Salon.

Nice spot! Good paralleling there- makes the contrast between the two scenes all the more apparent. Syed's hurting in both scenes, but in the first one, it's just hurt, but after weeks of his mother blowing hot and cold, all that resentment that's probably been bubbling away under the surface for months just came out. Also liked that Syed didn't mind 'making a scene', which sounds odd, but when you think of the BTF scene, where Syed says he "didn't want a fuss" and Christian tells him he just "wants an easy life"- well, it shows how far he's come. Not only will he stand up for Christian to his parents, but he'll do it publicly, and follow it through, too. I really liked that even though their refusal to accept Christian was the catalyst, he was angry on his own behalf, too, and realises how unfair they've been to him.”
Brilliant points! Yes he got angry for HIM as well as Christian, and that is healthy for him.

I hope Jane talks to masood about Chryed, more Christian. I hope he listen to her as well. Jane needs to tell him what is what
”
Christian is going to be isolated, with only Syed, and I wonder how much Jane's going will affect him too. I really hope she doesn't leave because of the whole thing with Masood coming out - but I am starting to fear this might be the reason she goes off?

And Roxy isn't part of the reason why Chryed were unable to be together for over a year. I think Christian remembers very well what happened in the past and is worried that it's history repeating itself. He's also worried that syed's going to end up getting hurt all over again. So I can understand where he's coming from. It's a difficult situation

I agree with this pretty much. Not really comparable. However I shall want to see Christian make a stand similar to Happy Monday if she starts interfering again. But I don't think there is going to be any more trouble with Roxy - I think tonight was clearly signalled as 'Roxy's growing up' - and I hope as a result she'll treat Syed a lot better.
I think it's been really interesting to see the faults of both sides of Chryed explored, neither have been perfect but I think Christian did behave very badly in the surrogacy. I did love Syed's look of horror about it during the mention tonight, that was another thing that made it okay for me, as I think it was almost funny!

And it sort of indicated to me that Christian knew he had been a bit crazy and irresponsible.
