That person's not unreliable and he definitely wouldn't deliberately mislead people, but it sounds like he's just heard a rumour to me. I wouldn't worry. I remember just before reunion, someone posted a rumour about Syed going back to Amira after his gay therapy and trying to make it work between them
Nooooooooooooo and nooooooooooo

*flicks through memorised archives of possible return rumours*

1. Preeya's 'no comment' during award interview - on it's own it's ambiguous and could have simply been said out of frustration over the recurring Q on a night where she's won an award for music, BUT coupled with....

2. A sighting at Elstree. I'm sorry, but I can't buy 'she went to visit' or 'she had post to pick up'......maybe she had some loose ends ot tie up, sure, but 10 months after she left the show (she filmed last scenes in early March, right?)?....... and.........

3. Didn't she tweet she was visiting her acting agent a few months ago? Could have been standard meeting/audition organizing but this plus the above all indicates a possibility she'd be returning - and, lets face it, there was always a chance she would be (divorce + secret baby does require screentime for optimum draama) and considering C's proposed he'd need a divorce, and that means Amira contact.

I know JP said he didn't think she'd be leaving baby on doorstep - can't remember exact quote - but he's denied that type of s/l, not a return per se.

Anyway, I don't really care anymore (no, really) - it's been proven that Chryed are solid and life partners 4eva so we won't get any serios wobbles from Syed if she bribes him with baby access - BUT if she's back for more than a week's worth of episodes and they have Syed bang on about how much he loved her, and ATO is the wounded victim with no character growth etc I WILL SCREAM.

If Chryed do get married I'm expecting an invitation Chryedians could give a much more realistic reaction to them exchanging vows than any random extra could

i think that's great that he sometimes wear's his own clothes, he must go to wardrobe and say don't like that can i wear what i am wearing or i have bought something else

and we are the only ones who know the significance and story behind certain clothes
Maybe he has started to wear his own clothes because he's leaving soon and it's not worth the investment in buying new wardrobe items for his character.

Thinking about Syed standing up to his parents last night, i'm really glad that Yusef wasn't there. Not because i mind him hearing, but.....

It was such an important moment for Syed, for his parents, and for Christian, in the scheme of their overall story, that i'm glad EE gave it that importance of standing alone.

Yusef has been there to witness many difficult moments for the family, and will be again, but that moment was given the prominence to stand alone, unencumbered by the sub-plot of Yusef looking on trying to make capital out of it. Good on EE for that, for once. It wasn't shown to focus on giving Yusef ammunition, but just because it was an important moment for Syed, Christian, Zainab and Masood, as it should be.

/much as i love Yusef's gleeful evvvil, that was a good moment to leave it out.

Syed recognised that he wouldn't accept reconcilliation on any terms, and his Parents couldn't have it all on their terms. No matter who's done what, he wants them to accept him for who he is now -after struggling so long to find that himself, he won't give that up, and Christian is an intrinsic part of who he is now, how he lives his life. It was desperately painful for him of course, including recognising their flaws, but his parents know how much being reconcilled means to him, which makes his words to them more powerful.

Maybe wardrobe keeps buying him stuff that's too small.

That would be hilarious... I dread to think how long it would take to film and how many out-takes there would be

Oh why change the habit of a lifetime

Good point you made there actually DY. TPTB do seem to be ticking all the Chryedian boxes plus there's the small matter of Johnny being released for panto. I'm also surprised that Jon hasn't committed to another stage show here, maybe they're off somewhere together in the new year.

Hadn't thought about that!

Someone needs to give Jon a long term job in London. NOW!

Maybe he could play a new character in EE

Not a Moon or a Mitchell though, there's enough of those already

Oooh, he could be one of Sy's 4 one night stands

*shuts up *

I've already chosen my hat I picked it out for the royal wedding, but seeing as my invitation never arrived I'll wear it to Chryed's wedding instead

Grrrr at the IS letter reply, is that all they can think about? I wonder who wrote the email, was it anyone here?

Breadstix, your post about the letter made me LOL, seriously, and it's too quiet here to do that!
Susan and other workers lurking, i agree, work is such a pain! . Post bank-Holiday mornings, ug! I may have just eaten two Orange Clubs straight together -emergency rations, i'm famished, so now i feel bad, but hopefully it doesn't make me a terrible person like, say, evvvvil Yusef or Zainab? Oops though...

Hobbleit, 4 pages of mining history, good luck with that, it sounds like you need that handy geologist back!

Clarkeyfangirl, if you're still here, i've left you a review, great first fic /phew, that took a while

Hiya (and I'm only popping in superquickly, promise...)

Thank you so much´, Meg. Read your lovely review , and actually responded to it

Mrs P, if you're still here: heres the link to it if you want to read it:http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6938426/1/Going_home

And the biggest this EVER to all the chryedians being extras on the wedding episode
*no jinxing it I said*
