Not really as the reason they never had a sub forum as it was pointless as not enough threads to make it worthwhile. Soaps will now suffer as it was busier due to the apprectation threads on the main soap forum.

I found this place through Google! Later - I could just about remember it was on DS - it took me quite a while to figure out how to get to here from the DS main page... If they're determined and dedicated enough - and we all know that's a real Chryedian trait - they'll find us, don't worry :sleep:

I just remember when the appreciation threads were moved off the Strictly forum, and there were many fewer browsers and occasional posters. (Including me) though I posted most on the main board.

All those long months ago I found the thread directly by googling 'Christian and Syed'. I didn't find it by looking for it on DS.

I can't even remember how I found the thread. I just remember lurking for 2 months before I figured out how to join without paying the fee.

I've just bumped the Yusef appreciation thread so it's moved here too

We've made this change to consolidate discussion a bit more. You're welcome to go to the EastEnders threads and post your thoughts on an episode in there as you would now - we just wanted the main forum to discuss news and episodes and for people to be able to find those threads a bit easier.

It was a bit daunting for new people to look at our main forum and see that 5-8 threads were all appreciation threads. A lot of news would be pushed down extremely quickly because of the rate that the appreciation threads move at.

It will take some getting used to, but I'm sure once you all decide on the wallpaper and furniture for your new home, you'll settle in fine.

I'm really not bothered at all. It's only a click away from the general soaps forum if you want to look there, and it's only been done to make the main forum look tidier. *shrug*. It's not like it's personal- there's been lots of stuff moved around.
