Hellooooo Part 161 and congrats, yet again to asyousay - what are you doing with those mods?
Only joking hun!
I was in the middle of a catch up and then the thread closed - BOO HOOO! Lost me post! Oh well.
I wanted to say - Rhumba - loved your post about Jasood, it is an impossible dream, also fuelled by Masood associating his gambling high with being with Jane - and enjoying this with her. He will always love Zainab, despite all her faults, the spoiler we know for the future indicate that. And Jane is just desperate and drunk, and miserable and lost, poor mare.
I hope Jane does something wonderful and redeeming for her character before she goes, and asks him to try to accept Christian and Syed, and I'd love the irony if he does it for her, rather than Zainab!
Thank to ABS - for putting up the link to the radio phone in thing. So sad to hear about this kind of stuff. We have gay politicians in parliament now, for goodness sake.
Morons, w*****s. etc, etc, etc. However, what is even more sad is that homophobic views are always, always,
always always passed from the parents to the children. Unless of course, those children happen to be gay themselves, and then, about the age of 10 or 11 when they start to grow up, realise what a double whammy they are going to face in their life. Believe me, I know!!!
Children do not see sexual acts, they see acts of affection, that are associated with love. They won't react to this unless the said parent makes a comment highlighting it is unusual or something. In addition, those parents fearing that their children will be 'turned gay'

there can't be too many times for this smilie, it is this still perpetuated belief, that by seeing other kinds of sexual orientations - that this will be somehow transmitted into the brains of their children? Such an ignorant view, and one that fails to take into account that people are
born differently.
Also, following the logic of this 'turned gay' attitude - why do all these gay people not turn heterosexual when confronted with endless scenes of hetro couples kissing then? Err, how does this bit work then?
All the great mothers on here, hold your heads high!
I would also add that this man, stupid man, is allowing his children to watch EE at all, at the age of 7??? clearly not suitable viewing for 7 year olds, unless you are up to explaining the storylines, MOST of which would go straight over a childs head anyway, unless you choose to make an issue of it.
It constantly AMAZES me how these appalling people get onto public forums, such as radio shows, and show how they not only let their children watch adult shows (IMO EE is for children from 10 or 11 over, call me old fashioned, but that is what I believe) but then have the gall to moan about the said programme, when clearly, they are terrible parents, with no skills to deal with talking to their poor children about life issues, and yet let them watch it, and moan they can't cope???

Moron, par excellence.

To quote Basil Fawlty - 'this is exactly how Nazi Germany got started!'. But sadly that is how it happens.
Sorry to come on tonight with a rant, but it was my turn for a rant.

xxx Sorry, just had to have one!
