This one here. It's really dragging its feet.

Hardly no new threads. It shows people have definitely lost interest.

I've noticed too.

Problem is there's only so many times you can post, "Well, that was crap, Britain has no talent" with everyone agreeing.

All the boards are dead, is there something we don't know about ?

It's the forthcoming alien invasion, aliens really hate BGT since Cowell left.

They watch it on ITV1+1million since the speed of light delays things a bit...

The buzz on the street is that next weeks episode ratings will plummet since many people have been giving it a chance and 3 episodes in is enough for them.

I used to really like BGT but stopped after 1.5 episodes this series.

The producers have failed to appreciate what the attraction of the show was, actual talent with a smidgin of joke acts.

Last night's show hit rock bottom for me. None of them were any good. And that last kid, actually scared me.

I'm sure they said at the end, that the auditions are nearly over, so what does that leave us with, a big fat nothing really.

It's been a chore to get through. I've loved every series of BGT and always thought there were a few worthy winners but this year there's been hardly any even worthy of getting to the live shows.

Have some liveliness in my party post!

...Feelin' the party yet?

(I mean, damn it, this is the first time I consciously decide to watch BGT for years and the damn board's dead. Ugh!)

This!

America's Got Talent actually shows talent! What do we get? Some sad bastard painting using his y-fronts? That's talent eh?

Hope BGT flops bigtime for everyone involved. It's what they deserve and will teach them as lesson!

Yep, whoever is picking the 'talent' to show us is doing a really bad job

Not surprising the forum is dead - the show appears to have gone the same way. I don't blame the new judges - I blame the drivel they are expecting us to enjoy.

For me, the death knell was on Saturday when Amanda played the Simon role of holding up her hands to stop the old geezer who was singing his own composition, which led to him murdering Van Morrison's Have I Told You Lately.

The saccharin shots of his family's pleading looks were designed to strike a chord of empathy with me instead left me with the taste of vomit.

I won't be watching next week, as the show is starting to kill my admiration for Michael McIntyre, and I'd rather think of him in his stand up comedy role.

The show is finished. There is a Cowell effect, but the major problem is that BGT 2009 got so much hype that nothing is ever going to come close. The writing was on the wall last year, it was in decline and this year is just appalling. I'm surprised the ratings are still in the 9's, I would imagine they'll fall into the 7's by the end of the auditions.

They need to axe BGT, it always would have had a shorter shelf life than TXF because a person's singing ability is much more easily 'quantified' than comedy value, magic tricks, boring dance troupes.

It's interesting because this year really is the beginning of the end for Cowell's very own talent genre in the UK... Cowell's absence from XF will hurt much more than it does on BGT because of the judge-based concept, can't see either show getting more than a couple more series each.

IMO i still think that he is coming out with some sharp and witty comments in his new
sit down comedy role.

i dont miss simon but the lack of talent is appauling and after 3 episodes theres only one act i would have put through (that bieber kid) but would expect him not to win, saying that up against dog torture, flexi dancing, bell ringing & a mute snake he will probably win.

BGT is embarrassing now and its no wonder this board is dead.

True, he is - I've had no problems with his judging. It's the only thing going for the show right now. But even watching the programme on Sky Plus left me regretting the waste of around 15 minutes of my life, even after fast-forwarding adverts and inane demonstrations of 'talent'.

There have been so few good acts (if any, debatable) how can we compare and contrast anything?

As has been said the show is the problem as there are only so many times we can agree that it crap.

I mean nothing so far has been so exceptional that I can even remember much about any of them. There was the boy singer and I think a dog act umm errr I've forgotten any others so they can't have been that outstanding.

Changing the judges may not have helped the show - certainly replacing Simon with D.Hoff especially, but I don't think that is the only problem. The judges can only comment on what is put on stage before them, and that is down to the producers who initially choose the acts to put forward.

Although, as I've said before, people who are seriously talented and aim to use their talent to carve a career for themselves, will not have anything to do with this show, I cannot believe there are no people who at least have the ability to entertain. So why are the producers doing that? It is, at the very least, completely insulting to the viewers, and almost definitely designed to kill the show off completely.

It does feel that way to me. Almost like Simon can come back and 'save' the show and make out the lack of talent was because of his absence.

Or perhaps he's not involved in producing the show at the moment, and this is what dross we're getting as a result. I can't make up my mind on this one.

Simon did that already ordering youtube auditions, but so far we only got an Opera Dog from youtube!

He may not need a talent from BGT anyway, as he only need a Boy singer to sell records for couple of years!

The show is called BGT but it spends most of its time showing acts that have no talent, instead choosing to show the acts with 'talent' at designated times, ie the final act of the show.

Hopefully the demise of BGT and TXF will bring in a new dawn of better TV. Or just create a whole new unseemly monster.

Probably because there's hardly any talent on the programme. Only two with great talent so far, in my opinion.

Because they like to give the impression that they're searching for talent for the purpose of entertainment.
