NOOOOO
I can't help but feel it's really out of character though.

Are you referring to the divorce?

I wonder how he thinks it's best for Zainab...he got slapped when he mentioned it the first time!

Also, considering how he was when Syed overdosed, it does seem OOC for him to not be the same with Zainab.

I guess we'll have to see how it plays out!

Yes I am I can't actually bring myself to read the spoilers. I don't understand why he would just give up on her after going through something like that? How is that helpful in anyway?

I have no idea it doesn't make sense to me...

I'm uber frustrated with this storyline at the moment.

Bumped! Acting like a family, sort of, before Monday where it is cruelly snatched away

It's official, this thread has completely cursed the family. It's not Yusef's fault..it's mine

It may be in the end of Masoods...we will always have the memories and the episodes to watch back as we cry ourselves to sleep...not that anyone here is going to be doing that *coughs*

My favourite family on the show and Marc and Nina's pressence will be greatly missed by me and many others. Hopefully the door will be left open for either of them to return should they wish to do so.

In Syed's case, they couldn't possibly make his return worse than his exit.

"Syed returned, but he left his gloves on the train and had to go back for them. He's stuck in Scotland."

As a huge fan of Chryed, I hope JP & ME never return, in the last 2 yrs on the show they were treated like extras and then given an appallingly bad exit storyline. I want them to enjoy success in their careers where their talents are appreciated. The Masoods were one of the best families in Eastenders history, NW has had the most consistent screentime of all the Masoods and is a loss to the show but again I feel these talented people are better off away from the frustrating restrictions of the soap genre. #eastendersloss

So it's looking likely that the last day of Zainab being on screen will be the 14th February , so quick, the family won't be the same again. I'm sort of in denial about it right now, first stage of grief.

I can't believe in Lorraine Newman's interview there was no mention made about Zainab leaving and what this means for the Masood family. If your'e not a Branning, Mitchell
or M

I can't believe in Lorraine Newman's interview there was no mention made about Zainab leaving and what this means for the Masood family. Zainab has become an iconic character, brilliantly portrayed by Nina Wadia since 2007 and it looks like her exit storyline will be an underwhelming event. The Masoods have been such a successful family and I know Mas, Tam and AJ will still be around but for the family to lose Zainab, who is the heart of the family is a such a huge loss. After Chryed left and happy as I was they left together, the way they were underused for the best part of 2 years and then given that awful last storyline, I decided to only watch Masood family scenes which I have done but I think once Z leaves I won't even do that anymore. Tptb have tunnel vision, it's all about the Branning's , Mitchell's and Moon's and it's recycled trash.

Quote for truth. I believe that Santer had great plans for them as well, to really put them at the heart of the show but BK & now LN haven't followed that through.

Tamwar Masood imo is one of EE's finest ever creations, and is humour is utterly brilliant, kudos to the writers for that on and to Himesh for being able to deliver them with that legendary deadpan delivery, Love this guy. Thanks
