One thing that's annoying me about this series is this new thing they've got, where in between acts they show short clips of the auditionees in the holding room chatting.

I can't be the only person who finds it really irritating?

It's quite funny if they say something completely ridiculous, but to show these clips about 12 times a show is so annoying. This is BGT, not Big Brother!

For example, they showed a clip that was a good few seconds long in the second episode, featuring a group of auditionees having a snack:

"Anyone want a wine gum?"
"Ohh yes please"
"there you go, anyone else?"
"only if its a green one"
"there we go thats a green one"
"thanks"

WHO CARES?!?!

That looks very staged to me when they do that.

Same, especially the bits where they are supposedly 'flirting'. My cat could do a less-staged version of that, and he's dead.

We have said the exact thing in our house!! WTF is this new bit all about?? it is not needed i would rather see more auditions im sure they must have some footage of other people who queue'd all those hours to audition, come on producers drop this crap!!!

well they have to show something, theres no talent to be seen.
