This is the bloke that craves on privacy right? He doesn't have to publicy state how much he loves Josie or how he still cares for her or anything. Maybe he hasn't on twitter etc but we don't know what has been said over the phone.

Im sorry but if he felt like that then he used Josie because he should of stoped it before Josie did.

Again, we have no idea how easy or hard he found it to make that final decision. You could say that it was the final straw for him after Josie telling him so many times to piss off back to Oz...if he found it that easy to do then why didn't he do it the first time she said it?
And we have no clue also about any feelings/affection he still feels towards Josie- just because he's not willing to declare it to a bunch of strangers online doesn't mean there is no emotion there.

I can't believe anyone on this thread can still doubt that they both loved, fell in love with, and fancied the pants off each other. Who knows if they still do now, but to me it was never in doubt that they did.

I'm not saying John never loved Josie or Josie never loved John, or I don't love Josie or I don't love John. There's alot of love!
I am just referring I guess to two things that stick out from Johns character: a) that he said he can walk away b) he hasn't (yes I know perhaps privately) given any indication that he wants the relationship to get back.
I think Josie is alot easier to read, she blurts things out that completely contradict eachother...I am very like that. I cannot for the life of me figure John out. He is sweet and shy (remember the exit interview with Davina...awwww) hot headed (Sam Pepper) Stubborn (with the many fights) and loving (i love you because....) He's a bloody head melt

BiB Did he not say that in the BB house, before he got heavily emotionally involved with Josie? Remember he also said that he'd never been in love before, so I guess it must have been easy for him to walk away from previous relationships because there was no deep emotion there. That he fell in love with Josie, for the 1st time in his life, might mean that he hasn't found it so easy this time.

Yes for sure, it may have been cos he wasn't in love...but maybe he's just that kind of guy that compacts things into boxes and moves on.

I agree. And the sort of love they both felt for each other is not something they would lose just a few weeks later. It's still there, they both have their faults and they both have issues. But at the end of the day, it's got to be said, we need to get with the programme, things said in angst are coming from frustration and anger and NOT from the heart. Once said it could be they immediately regret what they've said but know it's difficult to rectify or maybe they wake up the following morning with regret, but I assure you they do. Look at John's situation with twitter, he deleted facebook immediately and then went on his way to delete twitter, opened a new account forgetting someone could immediately take over his old account name, he stopped deleting twitter and then at some point, when he cooled down, tried to obtain his old name again. Realisation struck, someone had already got that name, he now has to think of a new one. Do we honestly think he would give a rip about twitter unless he had some reason to keep his link with the UK. The link, Josie, the woman he moved across the world to be with, the woman he left his mum for, the woman he left his loys for, the woman he left Australia for. The link is still there threadlings, now lets stay positive and ride this rollercoaster right to the end.

If you go by the things he has actually said & done I'd say he's pretty much done too.

he's just teaching her a lesson & is hurt? or he's through & really does believe everthing that's happened to her she deserves as he's quoted as saying in the OK article & all the fans trying to act as relate counselors are unwelcome causing him 'Misery' ie just trying to hold him back from getting on with his life, he's made his decision, accept it & move on

Has he said one thing since being back in OZ which would indicate he's missing Josie or that he wants to see or even talk to her again or has he said 'I'm well' 'I haven't got a problem in the world' 'I'm just spending time with friends & family trying to relax' & given the occasional update on pretty mundane stuff like fifa scores, movie reviews, comments about the weather etc doesn't sound like someone whose regretting his decision or upset but what do we really know because we're also only getting his edit aren't we which could be a true or false representation of what's going on with him. If he wants us to know any else I'm sure he'll let us know but in his own time & in his own way.

The only emotional tweets have been when he's been defending himself against the criticism of fans / haters. That doesn't necessarily mean anything other than he's pissed off with them because they've had a go at his character. .

Who knows with John though he's hard to figure out sometimes even when we watched him 24/7 we didn't always know what his words/actions meant.

What will be will be, if when things have calmed / cooled down & by that I mean the fans frenzy every time either of them post something which gets pounced on & pulled apart as meaning this that or the other who knows what will happen, not me, I was just interested in them enough to care.

I think its hard to find the correct place to discuss all aspects of our favourite couples situation. I have been deeply attached to them as a couple since last summer, i have been saddened to witness this special relationship apparantly break down. I have felt annoyance and frustration at both of them but feel i cannot comment on this on an appreciation thread. Where does that leave me? the court thead is so openly antagonistic to them that i would feel uncomfortable posting my thoughts, each j or jj appreciation is biased to one or the other. I will always appreciate John Ja mes and Josie , i dont always appreciate their behaviour and that is what i often want to talk about.
