You would have been better doing a poll on type of apple, rather than colour. It's about the taste, after all.
Cox, Braeburns & Pink Ladys are my favourites. Avoid Gala and Golden Delicious as they're too bland. |

Cox, Braeburns & Pink Ladys are my favourites. Avoid Gala and Golden Delicious as they're too bland. Granny Smith's can be excellent, while Golden Delicious are about the worst apple you can buy. There are some terrible red apples out there - big and foamy and tasteless, but Braeburns and Fujis are really good almost every time. I find myself buying pink apples as a safe bet these days. |
