I noticed this too as I could use Orange for calls and texts but the moment I wanted to access the internet then my mobile switched to the T-mobile network. Things seem to be sorted out now.

I called Orange tech support yesterday after putting up with a low signal in my area for about a month or so thinking it was just down to them doing works to merge the networks or something. The agent i spoke to was very helpful and said there were massive problems with the transmitter in my area that have been ongoing for a while. He gave me £40 off my next bill and said he would call me after the work completes on 18/5 just to see how i'm getting on. I didn't even ask for this and didn't even mention cancelling or wanting to log a complaint. I think that's great customer service to be honest.
