Rory grooved. He hadn't known Romans would go down so well at a nightclub, but it had. He also didn't know the sixties were THIS groovy.
"Hey, Amy has been gone for nearly 2000 year" he thought, "You've done worse things in the time! One 'dance' isn't going to hurt"
With that he led the lady he had been chatting too for sometime now out towards the toilets.
He drifted off as he walked. He was about to enjoy some fun with this nice woman. But his heart wasn't in it. He longed for someone else...
He slammed the door open to the bathroom anyway, roughly kissing the woman with all the passion he could muster. Fake passion, he thought. He couldn't explain it. He stopped.
"What's the matter?" The woman asked
Rory sighed. "Nothing Ally, i'm just not....I don't know... Not interested"
"Well then" Ally mumbled and stormed out of the toilet.
Rory turned and leaned against the sink. He looked up and out, up into infinity...
"Rory!" shouted a voice behind him.
Rory turned sharply. Standing on top of the sink. The Doctor! Wearing a fez?
"Doctor! I thought I'd never see you again!"
"Don't worry about that dear" The Doctor said leaping from the sink to the floor and giving Rory a quick peck on the cheeks. "Sorry it took so long. I popped off to get everything ready"
"Everything ready?"
"Yes. The islands of hawaii BEFORE they were inhabited no one there. Entire beaches just for us and now too beach chairs, a table and a plate of jammie dodgers waiting for us."
The Doctor smiled. Rory smiled too. They held hands and the Doctor beeped the Vortex manipulator. Whoosh! Off to Hawaii.

The Doctor rushed after them, fumbling a mop as he went.
"Stop!" shouted Rory. They all looked at him. "That's how you looked, all those years ago." He added with a slight sigh.
"Well, then." The Doctor said. He gave Rory a sly win then tapped the Vortex manipulator and shot off to the 1960s.

The end.

This would be fantastic, and I'm a confident third-person writer with many ideas, alas I wouldn't be sure of my capabilities writing a script. So I wish everyone that ends up involved the best of luck, and I'll still follow this with much interest

Ugh, I know what I want to do, but this synopsis is surprisingly hard to write.

I like to think of myself as a somewhat-good writer. I'm currently head writer of a Ace Attorney fangame, and the first chapter has gotten some pretty good reviews, and is generally pretty popul- Ugh, I'm bragging, I hate bragging.

I'm just going to hush up like a good captain.

Still, hopefully I can do this synopsis... Claustrophobic thriller, here I come.

What started out as wishful thinking a few days ago, well yesterday, has become a reality of sorts, and we would now like to share it with all you guys.

The idea: A DS produced series of Doctor Who.


It will basically be a set of 13 episodes written by members of DS. We are looking for 4/5 writers, and 5 contributors to join us, and this is your chance to do so.

To apply, you must write a synopsis of 1-2 paragraphs, about an epsiode you would write. This series will be set between series 5 and 6 and doesn't nesscarily have to involve Amy and Rory as companions. Since it's writing, the sky (and beyond ) is your limit.

If we get more people than places, myself, dalekaddison and Livingdestiny will judge who should go through.

The closing deadline is 7 pm Wednesday. Good luck, and please do apply!!


Ps. Just thought I'd add, this isn't officail Doctor who, they won't get produced by the BBC (though we can dream right?) The experience should be good though, and perhaps as near as you can get to actually producing a series without filiming it

The Doctor (after the The mission he, Amy and Rory went on after the wedding) goes to the future to the opening of a new planet Earth (Earth Alpha). Upon landing on Earth Alpha he finds out that people are some how gaining super powers and that people with powers are coming up missing. The doctor investigates to see how it is possible for people to have powers when he meets the most famous “Super Hero” Alpha-Man who ends up following the Doctor (Against the doctor’s wishes).

The two travels to the core of the earth (which he scanned with the TARDIS to discover that it is powered by giant crystal) to discover that a group of aliens that was driven to the core connected the crystal core to a machine to give human’s powers so to later eat their power infused life energy. The Doctor tries to talk with the leader of the Alien group but talks failed when Alpha-Man attacked the leader’s son. A fight between the Aliens and Alpha-Man Breaks out but is stopped by the Doctors who threatens to blow up the planet. The Aliens let the Doctor evacuate Planet Alpha of all humans and Alpha-Man loses his powers.
