What everyone seems to be overlooking came from the people who are saying android is good.

"You've probably had the iPhone 1,2,3g,4"

What you find is the iOS infrastructure is extremely entwined within the iOS infrastructure and the features that are "amazing" on android can be done if you jailbreak which is perfectly safe even though apple says otherwise and can be restored back to factory settings with one press of the button. I have had all of the os' except windows phone 7 and I wont be leaving the iOS environment but I have invested alot into apps, films, music etc from iTunes

Last years design? the new Samsung Galaxy S2 more than lends its self to Apple for design, even has a silver rim round the edges like the original iPhone. The iPhone 4 has a very modern solid design IMO, but then everyone has different tastes.

Also other comments you make are silly, how often do you change a battery? most people don't and even then its 2 screws, hardly rocket science! also the phone comes with 16GB or 32GB storage so why would you want to change the memory? Also I think the iPhone kills most Android phones in battery life tests... it seems as if you have just complained for the sake of it.

I see far more Android phones now compared to iPhones so I would argue they are more common with "yobs" as you put it. In fact I see more Blackberrys than both!
Spare batteries are handy, not all of us are in the protective cocoon of industry or academia where power sockets abound. If you have a 16Gb phone it would be nice just to slap in a 32Gb card. I iPhone has a poor battery life as do many other smart phones but then you can't carry a spare for the Apple lol.

I did not complain, just pointed out what would stop me buying an iPhone and pointing out that there are other phones at least their equal on the market and growing almost daily.

With that, I'm off out for a meal, I fancy Pork with compote de pommes sauce, with tarte tatin for afters all washed down with Cidre, not sure they sell that in Jamie Oliver's in Cardiff though lol.

My Samsung GS2 and it's 1650mah battery beats you all, mwuhahahaha!

And the good thing about being able to change the battery is you can get bigger batteries.

What is it with the fanboy nonsense the last couple of days? It's been pretty quiet for weeks otherwise. Oh well.
