Mine! (but actually I make blackcurrant jelly rather than jam)
But when the homemade stuff runs out, my husband (I don't eat it) likes the Bon Maman brand the best. |

I make my own. Nothing can beat that.
Close comes the blackcurrant jam from Aldi Nord. Don't know if Aldi Süd (UK) carries it. Bon Maman is also good, but far more expensive. |

I really liked the Hartley one..........called something like Hartley's Best
It was delicious and was also on special offer so having tried it I went back and bought some of the Strawberry and the Raspberry from the same range but they were useless...... The Blackcurrent was great though...........full of fruit I aways end up chucking jam away though 'cos i don't eat it often enough and I stick it in the fridge and forget about it then open it a few weeks later and it always smells funny so i chuck it...............

I personally love Hartley's Jams. They don't have that sugary preservative taste you get with some other jams.
EDIT: I've just seen your post, Swingaleg. You can't beat Hartley's Blackcurrant jam and peanut butter sandwiches

Thanks for all of your suggestions - I would make my own if time allowed (and if I had the blackcurrants!) but I think I'll give Hartleys a go first.

possibly bonne maman
I always look for the highest fruit content in the ingredients, when buying Jam/Marmalade worth paying extra. |

Aldi's blackcurrant conserve is absolutely the best we've had in our house, and we are all blackcurrant jam fans.
On a banana sandwich it can't be beaten. I actually make a special journey to Aldi for the jam and marmalade and buy at least 3 jars of each at a time as I rarely go there. |

M & S Blackcurrant Conserve £1.49. Packed with blackcurrants and not too sweet.
