Who knows, the Nurse eye patch lady claims they are trying to genetically create something to kill the Doc (the baby). So presumably River is some kind of a weapon...just look at her in that scene where she's killing the Silence. She was clearly able then.

The training I'm doing does cover the financial side of running a Surgery, but I'm not just doing that. Sure, fire away....

ye but it's more confusing than that. Someone suggested they could be using her to kill the doctor which would be clever because he could never retalliate against his best friends child and therefore she'd be the ultimate weapon. Perhaps that's the point. The doctor is supposed to come to trust her so completely that she can bring about his downfall.

Just watched it for the fourth time. My opinion has changed so much from the first time I watched it!!!
