A great pity, a very helpful bunch of friendly people in a fairly remote area. I wish them all the very best.

You're not wrong either they have always been amazing when I called them. They have by far the best customer service I have ever experienced much better than the other virgin media customer service depts. Is it South Africa where the other one is? They are brilliant too!

Ok, where does it say that its moving to India? The mobile customer service centre is being moved to Manchester where the Virgin Media customer centre is. Staff have been offered the option of relocation but it is quite a distance.

I wonder if the call centre staff in trowbridge have been offered re-location packages we often see senior managers snuffle ie help with moving costs and buying selling a house?

A massive shame, my dealings with CS have been nothing short of excellent.

If it wasn't for the fact I'm on the PAYG Daily Bonus Tariff which is no longer available, I'd leave.

Another Virgin site gone... After the IBM / Addeco fiasco I am glad I left the Liverpool Faults site. (Although not Virgin Mobile.)

Rather than ask staff to relocate why not alow them to work from home.
In the broadband culture we live in now its not hard to set them up from home.
Many firms now do this. BT, SKY for example.

I recently left Virgin due to their appalling indian call centres.

Now with BT (not much better) due to number porting issues, but after the contract runs out either Plusnet or this company
http://www.thephone.coop/
who also do mobiles (though it uses Orange)

No need to talk to India ever again!
