Geko direct announces liquidation to staff this morning!
Geko announced to their staff this morning that they have gone into administration and Orange have pulled their official dealer code and therefore partnership status!
I feel sorry for their staff who are genuine but the general feeling is they are a con. Google Geko and there are so many complaints! Still the owner will be alright with his paid off Mansion and his Bentley! |

Never even heard of Geko but i do feel sorry for their staff.

They are the biggest dealer for Orange.

Geko Direct has indeed entered administation today. This did not have anything to do with Orange pulling their dealer code or their business partner status. It was due to the distrubtor Mainline communications whom Geko connected through withholding the monthly on going revenue which is worth in excess of £100,000 per month. No business can survive if its main income is withheld in this manner.

How many months was it withheld for? No well run business should run month-to-month on funds nor rely so heavily on one income factor... though I know many that do and all have run into trouble because of it...

Geko customers are being directed to Orange distribution partner Mainline after the Telford-based Orange b2b dealer went into liquidation yesterday. Geko Workers Did Not Tell Truth
In November 2010 Geko Put Me On A Orange Contract. The Promise To Pay Termination Fee And Line Discount For New Contract. Months Of Phone Calls Did Not Deliver On Any.ten Members Of Staff I Have Thier Names Fobbed Me Off.the Last Time I Spoke To One Was 4/5/11.the Day Before They Closed

Geko Direct Administration
I feel bad for those who have lost their jobs, Geko Direct may have built a bad name for them selves online but this can be similarly said for many other mobile phone providers, their liquidation came as a great shock, check out the sofakingcool's blog who is an ex employee of Geko who shares his thoughts on Geko's demise.
