Samsung HD 770 Home cinema system
I have bought this system which has a built it DAB. But the DAB is just not working. I am in a covered area as I have another DAB radio in the house with no problems. Now when I press TUNE it just sits in tuning mode until I switch it off. Any help greatly appreciated.

The problem is that it was working and then I switched it back on and the signal had gone. Now when I press for Autotune i just sits there saying AUTOTUNE for ever until I switch it off.

I take it you have tried the usual unplugging it for a few minutes in case it has got itself a bit confused,if so I would suggest returning it
as it sounds like a fault. |

hi warrenb
try holding down the stop button on the main unit until it flashes dab reset. The unit should go into auto tune after about 10 seconds. If this does not work give Samsung customer services a ring on 0870 2420303 as it could be that the firmware is corrupt. cheers Rich |

Thanks for that. Did the DAB RESET but it just sat there saying DAB RESET for about half an hour. Phoned Samsung who were very helpful and they said it sounds like it is broke. John Lewis are going to deliver a new one and take away the old one.

Well I got the second system yesterday and all was well for about 3 hours. Turned it on, said tuning and just sat there for 10 minutes until I switched it off. Tried DAB RESET and that just sat there as well. Phone Samsung and they are getting and engineer to call me tomorrow, but they did mention it could be a fault with the product line. Ho hum, so much for the time I spent putting up the DAB aerial.
