16) The Big Bang - I loved several things in this episode (Amy's tiny little dad, the Doctor coming to the reception), but there were some things that I just didn't get and the episode felt a bit underwhelming overall.

I wasn't looking that much forward to the pirate episode. The Smugglers kind of bored me and I was worried the same would happen this week. I do love historicals, and like Verence I wouldn't mind a pure historical, but the historicals seem to focus on certain periods, people, and places in history and I much more enjoy the ones that change it up a bit, like The Unicorn & the Wasp, Vampires of Venice and the Girl in the Fireplace.

It's all quite tight at the top of the votes this time around with just two points separating the Top Five episodes.....

Damn missed the voting. Quite surprised at some of those that have gone recently.
