I've never seen her live, but from what i've seen from the hbo special, she seems to really interact with her fans - i love all the talking bits she does, she's so funny! Tbh i'd like to see her do an intimate gig so i could actually see her from my seat rather than on a giant screen - if i went to see a gaga show i'd want to be right up front where i could see her!

Josh, stay, we all agree with you that no debut tour is perfect.
Josh stay! I agree with you too! The tour looked really exciting and as a debut tour shows so much promise, but i agree compared to the veterans of showbiz (cher, madonna, mj in his day and u2) she's got a long way to go. I'm looking forward to the journey however, as the saying goes, its not the destination that matters, its how you get there... or something along those lines!

i am sorry just had a hot flash then!

Anyways, yes her team are too protective at times....i think they wanna try and avoid a massive Britney style meltdown which was horrific but what they are doing is horrific also!

Just be mild and have the music speak for itself. Edge speaks in simplicity and a fantastic 90s style anthem....i take the Eurovision as complimentary as i live for it (well not THAT far....but its fun!)

I think her team are protective of her, tbh.

She may be a rockstar on the outside, but she's obviously an insecure and sensitive young women inside. They probably see her upset and want to defend her because people can be so harsh on her whilst she's so sweet.
Plus, I think everyone is susceptible to the "suddenly a superstar" shellshock and inability to deal with it, and the more famous you get and the more quickly, the greater extent - so it's understandable. I think she's getting better at dealing with it though. I have a Q magazine from last year in which she leaves the interview halfway through because in her own words, she "just can't handle all this". But she seems to be more used to it these days. I don't think we're heading for a Britney meltdown, thankfully.

I think the HBO special doesn't really show the Monster Ball at its best, when I saw her on the first date in Manchester 2010 she seemed a lot more energetic, understandably of course.

Yeah, she's so busy and pressurised right now that the whole team aren't really going to have time to create a spectacular show for TV, expecially with the actual tour still going on.

The HBO special was directed by Laurieann.

She can take the blame.

EOG is fantastic and I'm now laughing at all those that were saying shes a flash in the pan and was flopping..EOG is pulling away from adele at the top of itunes in the US and is climbing here.I've no doubt shes going to deliver an amazing album and the thing about GaGa is she doeant always release the best songs as singles otherwise DITD would've been released. I'm still looking forward to gov hooker the most and I really hope the mugler version was a preview of the real thing rather than a remix

Are you talking about the R1W? I wonder whether she'll do only songs from BTW? I think her set's quite long isn't it? like an hour? so hopefully lots of time for some new gems!

I really love EOG, its message speaks quite strongly to me due to personal reasons and i just find her way of dealing with mortality so refreshing - i think she's a great role model for big life issues!

Definitely - instead of the usual interpretation of death being a very sad and terrifying moment, this song shows it as a moment where you look back with pride and happiness at the life you've lived - a really nice way of looking at it.

I think that might be why I like it so much too.

Exactly my feelings it makes such a nice change also from all the songs about being 'in da club' and all that tosh, i like a song with some actual meaning behind it. What makes it special to me when i listen to it, as how she truly means what she's singing. Even though its about death, you still feel like she's smiling and happy when she's singing it, im glad she has found some release for her grief...

Edge of Glory seems a lot better produced than her last 2 singles as well imo.

As much as I like Judas, it does seem a bit unfinished to me.

Also musically it's way ahead of Judas. She's remembered that verses need to be catchy too! The bouncy rhythm of her vocals in the verses is one of the most fun things about the song IMO. That and the saxophone.

Agreed - this is the kind of thing she should be doing.

^^^^ ur getting on my tits!!!!

Cher could physically have shat that tour....i am out....
Wow, talk about true colours coming out! Put me on ignore if you don't want to read what I have to say!

I actually can't stand Laurieann, she can't choreograph and she acts like a total bitch.
I agree, she's the first that needs to go! She an awful dancer/coreographer/human!

I doubt GaGa will head for a Britney meltdown. Remember GaGa is much older than Britney was when she was at this stage in her career. She's from a stable background that didn't revolve around making her a star.

She's much more stable than Britney. Britney's on a whole other street of CrazyTown.
Fock, Britney's the QUEEN of CrazyTown.

I agree that Laureann should be fired.

Apparently they're airing a "video" of You & I on AI when she mentors...

Word is that it's a clip from the HBO special. She nailed it, so that'll be welcome.

OMG I'm in shock, this is inspired. I cannot wait to see the symbology of doing this!

She is such a visionary!
