As much as I like Judas, it does seem a bit unfinished to me.
The only problem I had with Judas is that there seemed to be a bit of a stylistic mismatch between the verses and the chorus, almost like two different songs that had been spliced together. Still like it though.

Hey, it's one person saying that!

You don't have to tell me about the Beatles. My iPod says I have 421 Beatles songs. Of course they're in a league far beyond Lady Gaga, they're as close to perfection as music can be. But it doesn't stop us enjoying Gaga.

Apart from one of us, no one is disputing that EOG is by no means the best song ever written!
Wicked also sorry because I thought I was posting in the thread about her song and not in the Gaga Appreciation thread

Dont worry i asked the same thing last night. I was really shocked tonight when i realised If_U_Seek_Amy was an adult and not a young teenager.
Thankyou, I was a little surprised as well I guess she's just a very passionate fan

I like the contrast. The song is about light and dark, Jesus and Judas.

Yeah, I guess that's one way of looking at it. For me it's like two totally different eras of music together in one song. It seemed weird when I first heard it but not so much now.

Yeah I guess thats what I mean too - I quite like it now, but its a bit jarring when you first hear it.

I don't think I've seen you on this Forum, but I touch the lives of so many people here so I guess I should just embrace my Fame before it kills me.

Ooh I give it a 9. Very few songs get a perfect 10 from me

I agree on the other 2 singles though, although Judas sneaks an 8 for me

Dahling, I'd love to say I remember you but I just can't. What was the topic?

I very rarely give 10s either, but when a song hits me hard like this and I just feel it's the absolute best it could have been, I have to. It strikes a real chord with me, much more than anything else she's recorded.

Ah, I make a point of welcoming any new recruits to the Music Forum. I always stake out my targets before I rip their opinions to shreds and then endlessly insult them behind their backs, the conniving bitch that I am.

Though I seem to like you, dear.

I have very high standards, apart from my irrational love for Britney. She's my Achilles Heel. I can't justify it all the time, but I just like her a lot.

Anyway, who's looking forward to her Willow Smith knock-off?

Yes, especially after the lukewarm reception of the 2 official singles and the worry that has given people about the album's potential. EOG seems to of given many people hope again that the album will be as good as it should be

That's a good point. I was let down by the two singles too, but Edge Of Glory is just awesome. This could actually do better than Judas if she released it properly, and I think she should, Promo Songs have turned into Singles before, I hope this song gets that chance.

I just said this in the 'EOG' thread but I agree with Mr. Fahrenheit- this should be the 3rd single, they need to take advantage of the early success it's having.

I think it would be unwise to release it as a proper single now, espeically since its reached Top 3 on itunes.

From what I can tell, Marry the Night is even better than The Edge.
