I wouldn't worry too much. It may not be Brendan's finest moment but if Noel succumbs to him, he'll be the one to be hated.

We expect this kind of stuff from Brendan (it's a terrible idea but I can see why, in his head, he think it's good) but Noel is supposed to be the good guy.....

Ha dw I am usually negative and you arent really coming across like that, just realistic . If they do it and show brendans vunerable side afterwards I think it could still come across well, but yeah, some people are really going to hate him for this. (at least there are very few note fans so they wont be angry)

Oh I know, I know he'll have a reason and he'll have Ste's best interests at heart obviously and try to protect him from what would inevitably happen *i.e Noel just cheating on him anyway*, but he doesn't need to go to such extremes.

I'm just kind of hoping Noel does give in to it, cos if he doesn't then it's just gonna be a big mess of angry Ste and sad Brendan again.

Yeah I agree with this. I really do think in Brendan's mind he thinks this is the right thing to do. Either he sees that Noel is bad for Ste or he can't bear the idea of another man being near Ste... Is it possible they included this instead of the hot tub stuff they originally planned? It still makes sense after what Emmett said about Brendan not wanting Ste with another man.

Noel's going to come off really badly in all this I think, Ste will be the injured party here. I just don't know why Note carry on after this though

I think someone's said before, but Ste will probably think it's better to be with someone he doesn't love than to be on his own and alone.

I get Noel is gonna look like a bad guy, but Brendan won't look any better. Ste's still gonna blame him for it all, even if he knows why Brendan did it, cos in Ste's mind it'll be "Brendan can't be with me, but I can't be with anybody else cos he doesn't like it." no doubt.

im ok, just tired and some family stuff but yay its the weekend

i sneak off to the bathrooms and read on my blackberry when i get bored at work. haivng said that soemtiems it feels a bit wrong reading them at work.... especially Gaz's one!!!

i have a line form a song i want to base a new fic on so might do some writing this weekend - just got to think of a plot now lol

Oh you aren't bringing me down, its my own stupid thoughts that do that I think I will join you and eat some chocolate too coz my mum just gave me a load of easter eggs (dunno why she thought she would do it now though)

And I think alot hangs on how ste reacts. Though the dark scenes that emmett tweeted about were about noel and ste weren't they? Did he actually say brendan was there? Coz if he didn't then ste might not react how we expect either...

ETA that last bit wasn't really clear. What I mean is if Ste doesnt react straight away, maybe just shouts and crys and then walks out and noel chases him, could the main argument be with noel (punches somewhere here that dont involve brendan?) later on, without brendan?

He might also feel guilty, he blatantly slept with Brendan that night, and lied to Noel about it.

But then we know punches get thrown, so that's something else. Hmm, I don't know.

ETA: I forgot, this is Ste. I don't think we got much guilt even after he knocked Brendan out, so forget about that theory.

& Yeah, we're really just going on one line of one spoiler that we have, of what is gonna happen. Also, with what PM said in his interview *depending on whether his word still stands* when he said violence is gonna come about in an unexpected way, Ste could lash out again - Noel could lash out, Ste could hit Brendan, because Brendan hitting Ste isn't unexpected at all, we expect it all the bloody time.


Oh yeah exactly, he might think he has to stay with him which would build up more frustration I guess.

& Yeah, I hope Brendan punches Noel for kissing him, and cheating on Ste. Or Ste punches Noel. As long as nobody punches Brendan, I'll be fine.
