I thought last week's show was a step up, so they must have been saving all the best talent, for the later weeks! But tonight proved me wrong! What a load of rubbish, one good act, and he wasn't even British!

The result was pretty good, but surely he just painted a face on 30 pieces of toast , laid them flat then placed them in position on the display board ??

It looked like Brian Clough to me , anyways.

Seeing as you liked him, fine, I'll put my jar of Marmite down. If I send you the toast, though, it'll probably turn into crumbs or Michael will have hijacked it!

Why can't we have talent like that on BGT anymore?! I've watched the last series of AGT and I will definitely watch this year's and have to say AGT is a million times better to the last couple of series of BGT. It's so frustrating watching BGT and wondering why it can't be as good as AGT, especially as Australia is a much smaller country to the UK (I know not a country) and they have Brian McFadden judging?!

You should check more AGT out, if you have the time; they actually feature talented people!

The dog was much more entertaining and endearing than the not as good as we've seen before contortionist and the violinsist who would have been buzzed if she were less attractive and more dressed.

The unbelievable Chooka Parker is a revelation by any standards http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/newre...ply&p=49917019 but our Ronan Parke pees from here to Australia all over their Jack Viglen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxoRh...eature=related

The marmite guy is undoubtedly talented. Entertaining enough to watch for 2-3 minutes in the Semis? Not really. I might marvel at the end result, but the process will be boring and drab.

The dancer was excellent, but he's not a resident of Britain. Which kind of defeats the point of BRITAIN'S got talent. Razy fair enough moved and lived in Britain. To come from France purely for entrance in a British talent show is crazy. Nice moves though.

The girls at the beginning were crap. The dog was crap. The boyband were crap. The violinist was quite good, so naturally only got 20 seconds of screen time.

Am I hoping for too much to think that the producers decided to cram all the potential winners in shows 5 and 6?

I have to agree! I thought Jack was great but not as amazing as everyone was making him out to be. Ronan Parke is much better.

Have you seen the pole dancer yet or the male dance act, Instant Bun? I really liked them, they were very funny and great dancers!

On a sidenote, did you also think that Brian McFadden kissing him was weird and slightly creepy, seeing as he's only 14?!

Seems girlies just have to come on and wiggle their bits and they get through, hoff oggling them like Simon and Piers used too. Its horrible.
Cant belivee that dog got through or the toast guy...he needs to be more entertaining like talk through it like Rolf Harris. Its no fun watching people butter toast!
Only good acts were the fella with the high voice, wanted to hear more than two lines. The french bloke was great too.

The young boy of eleven was a good dancer. And the guy at the end who danced and mimed was really good.

That young boy who danced was on a BBC documentary about his struggle with autism .His life changed when he joined the dance class and he could concentrate better, learned to read better etc . An interesting scholl of thought is that the structure and repetitive learning of dance moves can concentrate the brain and enable better learning for autistic kids .

It's a lovely story to his journey becoming a dancer and everything, but I didn't think he was that great - he could be in time, but it just wasn't polished enough yet in my opinion. Of course he was brilliant compared to most of the other rubbish we saw them put through tonight, but I honestly can't believe that better people aren't auditioning. He probably wouldn't have got through on Got To Dance, where they actually have decent judges who tend to go by talent rather than background.

That's one of the biggest problems for me this year - it seems like if the judges like someone's personality/story, they've got about a 70% chance of getting through before they even perform, no matter how crap they are. It's always been the case for the odd couple of acts, but more than ever this year they seem to be saying stuff along the lines of "It was weird/it wasn't perfect/I don't know what was going on... but I like you."

It's Britain's Got Talent, not Britain's Got A Heartwarming Tale.

The old lady and her dog should not have gone through

That dog was not too friendly at the best of times and IMO they were put through to be laughed at

The 11-year-old James looks and sounds more like he's 13. He's obviously on the verge of a big growth spurt, which might disrupt his dancing ability. He was very good but not outstandingly brilliant.

Otherwise, today was mostly mediocre rubbish. I would have buzzed the woman with the dog, the weird fire-dancers at the beginning, and probably the four boys singing.

When the first episode in this series was rubbish, I assumed that they would be gradually building up the quality of the acts until they have some good ones at the end - but it's still mostly rubbish.

It's a nice story and he's probably a nice kid but he ain't gonna be a top notch dancer ... Is he ??

I don't think we heard the buzzer lastnight? Thank god for the French bloke, otherwise it would have been another crap episode.

Actually I agree wih both of you , I wasnt championing his cause to be honest .I fact watching him I felt he was detatched from the music , his dance had no real connection with it , he simply danced while music played .I am guessing it could have been any music

The show is rapidly going downhill just like last year. Sure there's been a few reasonable individual dancers but few decent vocalists and I can't remember any decent dance acts like Diversity.

I think the producers have actually listened to the public. I'm watching lastnights show and 36 minutes into it there has only been one bad act, it's been packed with good acts. more of this please.

Well I certainly wasn't laughing and being a dog lover I found the dog very entertaining. I'd rather see a dog doing tricks and being far more likeable than certain humans who you can tell don't like dogs, than watching dogs of a female kind coming on half dresssed to get the votes - it's been seen time and time again. I'm sick of the dancers no matter how good some of them are. There have been some really good dog acts who get to the final and I'm sure the Queen, another dog lover, would far rather see a dog performing than most of the same old she has to sit and watch year after year.

The show is definitely lacking something this year. Several acts are being put through who clearly shouldn't be e g the dog, and even the headline top acts are not that great.

Even the good acts are somewhat limited and once the surprise element is no longer there they won't be as good second time around.

Having said that, there have been enough quality acts to produce a half decent final. Can't remember all the names, but the guy who sang Fast Car, Ronan, body popping guy, French guy who was on last and the global balancing act.

Where are the dance acts this year? We are crying out for another Diversity, Flawless or Twist & Pulse, but most the dance acts are individuals.

The judges seemes amazed for some daft reason but it was nothing special and they have all seen much better dog acts.

Don't worry they wont be put through to the live stages. And if they do they will be this years wood chopper.

It wasn't actually packed with 'good' acts though, in my opinion - just packed with acts that they said yes to; most of whom were crap and deserved a no. The producers can't really respond to the public now, because the actual issue lies with the amount of rubbish acts that they put through to the judges stages in order to make 'humourous' TV. If they're lucky enough to get another series, they should put more good acts through to the judges auditions.

I hope they've limited the dance acts this year, to be honest. They put through loads to the semis last year, who clearly weren't in the same league as Diversity or Flawless. I can't see any dance group on the show bettering the synchronicity of Flawless or the creativity of Diversity - that's not to say I don't want to see any (providing they're of a decent quality), but last year was overload, where Twist & Pulse were the only good ones.
