Did the Doctor ever call on the Time Lords for help? I remember it as the other way round - they were always calling on him, and he was desperate to avoid them.

I'm really not sure how I feel about the return of the timelords on a large scale. Part of me would love to see the different dynamic it could offer but another thinks it might be a difficult thing to do well and once that 'genie' is out of the bottle it would be hard to put back (RTD already having done this in The End of Time) so they would likely have to become a massive part of the program. If it is done then I can see it being a season long arc but I dunno. The 'lonely timelord' has become such a central motif of the show...

So yeah. No idea!

Wargames He was desperate to avoid them then too, but couldn't.

It would certainly change the motif of the show. But having the Time Lords worked (I think) for the show before. I don't see any reason why it couldn't' again.

All the things that were described by doc10 in TEOTp2 could have made there way through the portal during the few minutes the Time Lords were on Earth so they could make an appearance in the future. Even some TL's i guess
