I was gobsmacked watching it just. It's just made the show even more of a mockery. Talk about the producers trying to be politically correct.

I suppose it's because the programme is called Britain's Got Talent, and purports to be about finding talent within the country. I don't think people should have to be British, but they should have to live here.

That French guy and another Romanian guy were very very good, comparing with the mayority of the "british" acts. If they didn't allow them to participate in the first place the show would have been even worse.
