I suspect a twist
This can't be right, even for BGT standards! Only 3 shows left, no stand out acts or WOW moments so far.
Like last minute youtube auditions, Simon may have another role to pickup more "undiscovered" talent from GB |

I assume the winner will come from the final shows as no one of any use has appeared so far,

Im told by a friend in the media, susan boyle has been undergoing radical surgery to alter her voice and appearance and will re-emerge as Steve Brigs from Sheffield to be this years star story as the series is dying on its arse.

My guess is that Simon Cowell has a plan to ride in on his big white charger and do something to set the cat among the pigeons and thus redeem himself in the eyes of the great British public as well as rescuing this fast-sinking load of rubbish.

The final twist might be that the judges actually start using their buzzers.

He definitely stands out from the contestants this year (shown on TV), but a lot of Kids out there who can sing exactly or better than him. Also when the Voice breaks, his upper belting range will go away But he has very good tone & range at the current state of vocal folds and if act quickly he could sell a lot of record within few years time. Ronan Parke wasn't a standout act or wow moment? I'd like to know what you think would be,

I honestly don't understand the hype around Ronan. Sure, he's got a great voice, but I was hardly blown away by it.

They show so many acts in the waiting area and short clips of people practising in the background that look interesting, but then they only show a very few acts in full, so we have no idea how many good acts haven't been shown at all.

It's all a set up so Simon can redeem himself, he is probably aware that he has pissed off a lot of his audience by fixing his shows so the controversial acts can go through. He wants to be the top judge. I have also noticed on both BGT and BGMT David H. has been given more airtime and they have cut down on the stupid american act, it seems rather a coincidence after the criticism he has been getting.

I was completely underwhelmed
![]() I wouldn't even go as far as a 'great voice', he has a sweet voice and looks sweet but I can understand sweet x 2 = lolly

Purely a coincidence as the shows were edited weeks ago.

Read it mate, what exactly I said! For me, major attraction in Ronan is belting in higher range in chest voice. That will definitely fade away. If he has natural ability in singing, it will be there forever no matter he has few key range or few octave range! Quote:
Do you think all adult male singers only discovered they could sing after their voices broke? Do you think none of them have been singing since childhood?

If he has natural ability in singing, it will be there forever no matter he has few key range or few octave range! Rule of Nature, which cannot change unless you do surgery ![]() So far he has good chance of winning, but these kids in the link may take the control once they join the gig Spoilers in the link below http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_34Nk0oNZ0 (12 year old) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-L2syBfgBE (13 year old) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNeMM2UHN3U (9 year old) So there are no adult male singers who can belt in a chest voice? Really? All adult male singers have limited ranges? Seriously? Surgery? What surgery? Are you suggesting all adult male singers who can sing in high registers or have large ranges are castratos? The first child is good but that is lyrically a ridiculous song choice for a child that age. The second child is the antithesis of everything I like about Ronan. Yet another child singing choral or "opera" and trying to look like a cross between an angel and Hermione Grainger  The third child is no more than average. Little power and often off key and with less performance skills and charisma than the microphone. That clip is apparently two years old. Hopefully there will have been an improvement in the past couple of years. Again, a ridiculous song choice for a child. |

Take it lightly, I'm not an expert in Voice ![]() . To repeat, I just said Ronan is a very good singer, but FOR ME the main attraction is his upper belting range and it could fade away when his voice breaks, unless he undergoes surgery! That's true in male voices, in many cases if they want to retain the same tone and rangeDid I say that??? NO ![]() Quote:

You may have misunderstood my wording few octave range to limited range. Quote:

Not exactly, but some quick £££s because of the Justin Bieber styling, again IMO ![]() Quote:
Are you implying that Cowell would have the poor little fellow's nads removed, just for continued profit! Outrageous.
