I'm just watching the latest episode of South Park. It features 'Funnybot' - a robot engineered by Germans to demonstrate that they're not the least funny nation in the world.

Funnybot has A) a plunger-style arm; B) a desire to wipe out other life forms; and C) an occasional tendency to cry, "Exterminate"!

Is this an affectionate nod to our favourite show, or Steven Moffat developing his most complex and canon-busting story arc yet? Time will tell...
