Not looking at you spoilers, but imdb? I could go edit that right now to say that Tom Cruise was going to appear in episode 7. I wouldn't take any notice of anything written there until it is verified elsewhere.

Exactly, anyone can edit IMDB and I'm surprised there's not porn links and "Osama is dead yay!!1" all over it!

I don't know exactly how it works. I've only made one edit there and that was only to reword something that didn't makes sense.
I'm not even sure how long it's been user editable. I've referred to it for years and I don't remember edit links there until last year.
In a way it's a pity they've done that because it allows people to mock the site and for general film information it's always been very reliable. (Not sure about TV information.)
Didn't realise it was that easy to edit IMDB. When I was trying to add a film onto it, I had to provide documentary evidence of its existence from 3 separate and distinct sources, state premier dates and locations and where it was originally shown.
