I would be happy if it was Danni, Louis, Gary and Lilly (UK)

Personally that wouldn't be bad, Gary would be a bit annoying but I will get used to it. I would love Lilly on the panel I can predict she would be great, I really wouldn't want Alicia!

Danni is great!

Louis - meh we can have one awful judge

Lilly has already rules herself out and Louis is a good judge, like it or not, he knows what he is talking about even though he does talk a lot of nosense too

Seems unlikely but I was wondering, Nicole is only presenting on USXF meaning she has no committment to contestants, doesnt that mean she can judge the UK show aswell? I mean like I said before it is unrealistic but it is always a possibility.

Get rid of Louis and the show will completely lose it's identity. I think Adele would be great.

At this point (assuming Nicole is out of the running), I'd throw money at Lily Allen to replace Cheryl. I can't see Kelly Rowland replicating her success and Alesha Dixon has already tried and failed. Frankie Sandford is just too similar and probably too young. Kimberly Wyatt has judging experience and I liked her on Celebrity Juice but lacks the tabloid profile. Charlotte Church might be alright. Adele would be great but she's touring a lot just now.

For the guys, George Michael could be interesting. I think Michael Buble has the confidence and profile to replace Simon. Gary Barlow is OK on paper and he is quite a funny guy but his voice is a killer.

Then there's the idea of actually having a music exec on the panel seeing as one is leaving. I've mentioned Craig Logan elsewhere, I'm sure there are others but obviously there would be an issue in finding one with the appropriate charisma (and they'd most likely have to be a manager or else working for Sony). And seeing as they'd have no great public profile, the new female judge would need to be really famous.

I think Louis has been great on the show but I'm not sure how it would work with these new judges. It's difficult to revamp the panel and avoid comparisons when the lower profile half of the panel appear fixed in their positions. Louis is great bickering with Simon. But with Lily Allen and Michael Buble (for example), I'm not sure he'd be a great fit. They could move him to BGT - which is generally a bit wackier anyway - in place of The Hoff.

Idol lost/fired 4 judges in the space of 2 seasons, reduced the panel to 3 and brought in 2 new people who weren't direct replacements for anyone. If anything, Randy replaced Simon as the tougher music industry figure on the panel. Trying to totally refresh The X Factor panel while avoiding comparisons is difficult when last years B team are hanging around.
It's gonna be Alesha and Gary. Those are the two names getting all the headlines, and Alesha tweeted that she had a meeting with Syco.

I don't know why people are throwing other names when she is nailed on to replace Cheryl.

Headlines do not equal truth. There are various different versions of the "Dannii has the Axe Factor" headline every year, but so far, none of them have been true.

The Sun and The Mirror are running different female judges - The Sun say Kelly Rowland, The Mirror say Alesha. So I doubt anything is locked down.

A few weeks ago, they were convinced it was Lily.

I'd love Adele - but she'll have to do it for the love of the show; it's not like she needs it!

Kelly Rowland would be good. With Simon's aversion to Strictly, I can't see them going for Alesha but I could be wrong.

I'd be happy with either Kelly or Alesha. As I said in another post, Alesha has failed and damaged her reputation (such as it was) by taking the SCD judging role which she was clearly unqualified for. On a music talent show, I see her winning a number of new fans especially if she can sort out her dodgy grammar.

Kelly always comes across well in interviews and on panel shows.

Lily seems to have made it clear she's not interested.

Gary's monotone voice may just send me to sleep each week but hey ho....

i can just see Simon going for Alesha simply to stick two fingers up to SCD and show which show is the boss as it were.

I think Strictly'll be pleased to get rid without the embarrassment of having to sack her TBH, so it may work out for both programmes.

Same, i doubt SCD will be in tears after all what happened.

I'm not sure Alesha will work for xfactor though. A lot of people comment on her bad grammar plus I think a bigger name on the panel would be better.

She tweeted about Syco. I think she will be the new xfactor judge. 80% sure.

I think it could make do with one 'makeweight' and one big name - Alesha would be fine as the 'makeweight'.

Whoever suggested Kimberly Wyatt - that's an absolutely genius idea. She has the right attitude about her, and has excelled at judging on every program I've sen her on, it's such a shame she lacks the profile needed.

Lily would have made a fantastic judge, although she has ruled herself out, so I guess that's not a possibility. My only criticism with her is she occasionally veers into rudeness, rather than honesty.

Very limited options in all honestly. Not many celebs want to do it/or have other commitments going on.

Gary Barlow, Alesha Dixon and maybe Kelly Rowland seem the only decent, available choices.

If Gary Barlow's free, does that mean Robbie Williams is too? That could be interesting.

I'd love to see Dannii and Louis stay and be joined by Gary Barlow and Kimberly Wyatt. Gary would take over the "Simon" role of having experience in the music industry, but it would be Kimberly who would fulfil the "nasty" judge role. Celebrities don't have to have a huge profile to be judges on these shows; Dannii didn't when she was first made a judge, and she's been nothing but a revelation!
