Is the TARDIS injured?

Did the siren take the TARDIS because it is injured / damaged?

Well I suppose it might be, but I thought just so the Doctor couldn't escape or something?

I think it was more confused because there were two craft occupying the same space, she's a temperamental old girl

And that had her not functioning properly, which is pretty close to being injured.

The TARDIS was becalmed due to the 2 ships being in the same place/time*.

Then either The Doctor in trying to take off caused some damage and the TARDIS was transported to the Sickbay by the Siren or the TARDIS did not actually go anywhere but just slipped into the other dimension.

*Wasn't there a 6th Doctor story with the same idea?

On second thoughts, maybe the TARDIS is going rather wrong and the Doctor hasn't noticed, so that's why the test thing doesn't know whether Amy's pregnant or not, so it turns out Amy's perfectly fine and the Doctor's just using dodgy equipment?* Like when my Internet connection wasn't working earlier and I thought the site I was using was down?

*But of course it turns out to be going wrong because the Rani's been messing with it or something.

I thought it was more a case of the Doctor pulling the wrong lever, nearly breaking things and the Tardis landing in the nearest "safe" spot.

Don't know, it wasn't explained, lets move on and chalk it up

Don't forget the TARDIS is basically a very old hot-wired stolen vehicle which has never been completely working since the start of the original series

What I said is a suggestion for later on, nothing to do with last week. I stuck it in here because I didn't want to make another guesswork thread when we have loads.

This was rather obvious this one, I mean come on, even the RTD era kept banging on about this, the TARDIS is alive, so all those bangs, sparks, explosions, etc, would cause a bit of pain, but as The Eleventh Hour shows, the TARDIS can also heal itself, and again, as with The Eleventh Hour it can also fully change itself to.

Now, in CotBS, the poor thing is confused already as it's following a distress signal but somehow ended up on a Pirate Ship. Which was explained with the whoel two plains thing, etc, etc.

Doctor and Captain mess around, TARDIS starts to spark off, in pain, Siren comes after it, TARDIS finally figures out it's in the wrong place (Doctor Doesn't) and it goes to the other ship instead.

In terms of its Timevortex cred, its probably the equivalent of stealing an old Vauxhall Viva from a scrapyard in 2011.
