I can spend various periods of time obsessing about the various bits of Doctor Who music. Sometimes it's "All the Strange Strange Creatures". Sometimes it's "The Runaway Bride". Sometimes it's "Rose's Theme" and sometimes "Turn Left".

Right now it's the "I am The Doctor". It has a simple yet fast and addictive Rhythm that I just cant' get enough of. Always gets me in the mood for an 11th Doctor adventure and just screams Doctor Who all the way.

The role the music plays in the entertainment of Doctor Who cannot be underestimated!

i agree i've always loved the music by murray gold it adds so many emotions to the series.speaking of the music and thinking of classic who i could not stand the music used in sylvester mccoys era

Tragically enough - I'm hoping to get the okay to use the "Onwards!" version of "I Am The Doctor" as entrance music when I get married in August!

The 11th Doctor's theme always makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up and when used at the Doctor Who experience actually brought a tear to my eye as it brought out the 8 yr old child in me again.

Currently have 'Onwards' as my ring tone.

I love "I am the Doctor" I think it's Gold's masterpiece...

I too have favourite tracks at different times. 'Vale Decem' is there at the moment because of the pure emotion associated with it.

so many great tracks and a good few excellent versions of the theme tune too. Murray Gold, we salute you!

Oh and kudos on the wedding music choice- my sister went down the aisle to the Shire theme from LOTR played on electric guitar I have to ask- who's the one you have to ask permission off? I'm planning to go down the aisle to the wedding theme from Flash Gordon myself.

The Flash Theme or The Wedding March (from Flash)? Personally, a few hundred Brian May guitar harmonies at once is something I'm keen for but the missus isn't...

It tends to be Four Knocks or Vale Decem that I tend to listen a lot to. Love those two pieces.

The volume just has to be turned up for Vale Decem. Its bombastic nature suits high volume.

To be honest. I have too many favourites to mention, but "I am The Doctor" is what i'm obsessing about at the moment.
