If your a big texter and hardly ever talk their cheapest tariff for unlimited texts is £26 on a 24 months contract of £31 on 18 months!!!

wow what a rip off!!

and its even more if you want data too!!

i use about 60 mins a month but send about 1500 texts!

I get unlimited texts for £5 a month on PAYG. They've stopped the tariff for new customers now though so if I leave I'm doomed!

You would be far better on O2 PAYG as you get unlimited texts when topping up over £7.50 a month.

Another thing is that O2 now charge you for data £6 for 500mb on top of the talk plan, not sure if other networks are planning to do the same though.

Im still on the old text and web £15 a month offer were you get unlimited text 12000 and 500mb of web data a month and unlimited wi-fi. They no longer offer that offer to new customers. So If I move tariff I cant go back to this offter.

For what I pay £21.00 on t-mobile would cost me about £36.00 which is quite ridiculous. See what happens when my contract is up in April next year.

You can get a sim only tariff for £15.50, and that's with 300 minutes and unlimited texts. Conversely you can get the same tariff with a phone for £21 on a 24 month contract.

I am on a £10 a month unlimited texts and 300 minutes with a £5 a month bolt on for unlimited data. I would call that pretty good..

It's charged on top but the tariffs have all been reduced accordingly.

That maybe but when i called up and spoke to them about what would be the equivalent tariff under the new tariffs they have if i did a upgrade and not go through retations.

Currently i pay £35.00 and get the following

600 mins
500 texts
Web bolt on

Under the new tariffs that comes to £48.00, i'll be going through to retations regardless but i doubt i will save much.

Sounds like the £5 tariff at giffgaff, www.giffgaff.com would be ideal for you.

I started a thread on a similar issue last week - I had an almighty row with O2 as I have been with them 10 years and needed to add web use to my daughters contract. They basically offered me a standard tariff and said if I didn't like it, get stuffed. Shan't be with them after my contracts expire.

It's starting to look that way for me. I cannot justify spending nearly £50 a month not when i look at other networks plans and they are cheaper and have a better range of phones. But i will at least give them a chance before i decide what to do.

Anyone spending £50 is a fool, you are unnecessarily wasting money. Other networks can offer you a much better deal.

P&G here £7.50 a month for texts to all networks plus £5 Blackberry bolt on.

£12.50 a month that suits me.
