I would welcome Kay as the writer for 27th at the expense of Gittins or Povey. Kay's Syed-Amira scenes were just terrible, but I quite liked the pre-sofa kiss Chryed scene. OK, not exactly Davidsonesque, but compared to some of the carp we've had to to suffer recently it's practically epic.
