The stunts were getting ridiculous under PC, especially with characters making sudden recoveries. With credit to SB and co, at least Nick Tilsley's brain damage plot has been going on for over a year and not swept under the carpet. Hopefully it goes on for longer.

You misunderstand me.

I was referring to the claims that Phil Collinson was popular here when he was in charge, when in fact people wanted rid of him and there was a huge re-appraisal after he left (funny that). I think people have just forgotten about it all because EastEnders was getting even more of a kicking at that time.
