I get it that the OP doesn't read spoilers (To reply to the question, I do - all the time)

But I don't get the breastfeeding thing.

Amamantar is the spanish word for "suckling" (breastfeeding)

But i believe it is also used to mean "to spoil"

Ah, all is made clear! Thanks, dgem.

Though it seems a bit of an odd second meaning to have. Spanish family life must be fraught with misunderstandings. But probably it's all in the inflection.

Ah-hem

I used to read spoilers all the time. With this series I have been avoiding them. Happy to read/watch trailers etc, but I am avoiding genuine spoilers.

yep and the context. Like if you gave a child an expensive gift I would be unlikely to say "STOP BREASTFEEDING HIM"

Random fact. The Welsh word for ladder is the same as school

Perhaps we're back on the Idris-Tardis speculation and discussing the time rotor

The next time River shouts "spoilers" I may never feel the same again.

Let's hope the Tardis continues to translate correctly, and doesn't decide to have a Spanish moment.
