Without getting too serious, I grew up in children's homes and your locker was your only "personal space" - you couldn't put anything on the wall. To be honest, at that age I'd probably have just had Dr Who posters anyway
As I said, neither the baby nor the woman had to be Amy - or the little girl. In fact, we don't even know for certain that Amy was in the little girl's room or that photo's belonged to her.
Here's a thought...
Amy is 21 (maybe 22 by now) so she was born roughly 20 years after that visit to the orphanage - making it at least possible that the "Amy" in the photo was her grandmother. If we go for the "little girl is Amy's baby" notion, that gives the potential for another sci-fi chestnut - Amy could be her own grandmother.
Not a theory I like but a possibility.
I reckon the Amy pregnancy thing is a red-herring - I can't imagine them taking a new born on the Tardis and the alternatives - Karen and Arthur leaving or Amy and Rory losing the baby are both unpleasent ideas.
