I have a 9 month old kitten called Lola who I rescued nearly 2 weeks ago, and I suspect she may be pregnant, when I got her she was really thin and didn't like contact, after 2 days of hiding she warmed to my daughter and is now a loving and affectionate cat, I had her vet checked just after I had her and the vet said she was very scared but was dehydrated but ok apart from that, I've welcomed her into my family and she is now fab with my other pets, but I've noticed her nipples have come out and our a deep pink shade, could this be maybe going on heat or is it more likely she is pregnant, I was told by someone who alerted me to Lola that she didn't have a litter box and was always outside, she also only got fed once a day and had to share that feed with another cat.

If she's not neutered and been outside there's every chance she could be pregnant. Cat pregnancy is approximately 63 days, if her nipples have pinked up she is over 3 weeks pregnant so will have about 6 weeks left. If she's to carry on with the pregnancy, start feeding her a good quality kitten food now. Hope this helps some.
